There was no First team fixture on the 22nd November but the 2 nd X1 was at home to Pendine in the 4th Division Cup. Clearly there had been some concerns over the state of the pitch after a few days of incessant rain and a couple of home fixtures for two of the mini teams in the morning. However the ground ‘stood up well’ under the circumstances and the game went ahead.
After scoring in the opening minute, the Nomads went on to win by 5 goals to 1 but in truth should have converted several more opportunities. The goals came from Andrew Smith, Shane Phillips, Kyle Fairbairn, Mikey Chandler and Craig Harding.
