On 14 July I received my PhD in History from Cardiff University after 6 years on this course. My thesis is The Social History of the First World War in Pembrokeshire. This 106,000 word study reflects the lives of the 89,000 or so inhabitants during our first total war.
The day was truly unforgettable and ended with a rather nice meal at Jamie’s Italian.
