The 22nd Songs of Praise celebration was held at the Hotel Gardens, Brunel Quay Neyland last Sunday afternoon and was well attended despite a short spell of rain. The event was originally held in 1995 and is organised by Churches Together in Neyland. Only three times has it had to be held indoors on account of bad weather.
Eight rousing hymns were sung and the Mayor of Neyland Councillor Simon Hancock said “The Neyland Ladies Choir. Haverfordwest Male voice Choir and Milford Haven Town Band were all in fine form. Sincere thanks to the musical directors, accompanists, representatives of all the various churches and all who helped in any way to support this much-loved event.”
