We held a poetry competition at the club when the World Cup Rugby was on, the winner was Sinead
Brickle , one of our Year 7 members.
Neyland
The light blue sea shimmers in the sun
The smells of Kebabs, Chineses
The children playing underneath the street lights
Boats arriving in the harbour
The ghost of Brunel is hunting the railway
To see if another train will ever arrive
The trees shaking in fear
All the leaves floating onto the floor
At night the stars shine like fairy lights hanging from the ceiling
Screams coming from houses “Come on Wales”
