It’s is only 2 weeks (11th December) until we start sorting toys and
soon after Frame will be delivering. The referrals are coming in fast
now, maybe a little quicker than the toys are. Last year we gave gifts
to over 600 Pembrokeshire Children. Many would not have received any
gifts at all if it wasn’t for the incredible generosity of people like
you. Apart from toys/gifts, books and art material (all new) we do also
need sweets, chocolates,wrapping paper, sticky tape, strong large bags
(bin bag size) and large cardboard boxes.
Harvest time was amazing for us and I’m sure we had more than ever
donated this year. Apologies if I didn’t write to thank you,but we have
been really busy. This October we fed over 1/3 more than the same month
in 2015! This means much of our harvest donations have been used up and
we are desperate for tinned meat meals, tinned cold meats, tinned
potatoes, jars of sauces for pasta and/or rice, packets of noodles and
coffee. We also like to start giving christmasy goodies from the 2nd
week in December. We need help to keep up with running costs. Our
finances are low and we need people to commit to regular giving by
standing order and to gift aid their donations when appropriate.
We will be at Tesco, Milford Haven 10-4 on Saturday 28th November
collecting toys, food & money etc. Please come and say hello to our
team.
We have an amazing raffle with incredible prizes. There is a 5 foot LED
Rudolf outdoor light donated by LLB LED Solutions, Dorian Spenser Davies
prints, Sainsburys Gift Voucher and lot lots more. Only £1 a ticket.
Available at all our bases and the Gwaun Garage in Letterston.
Each base will close for Christmas as follows;-
Saundersfoot, Wednesday 16th December at 1pm
Haverfordwest, 12 noon Friday 18th at 12 noon
Pembroke Dock, Tuesday 22nd December at 12 noon
AND Milford HQ, Wednesday 23rd at 12 noon
We reopen Tuesday 5th January 2015 in Pembroke Dock. Then normal opening
times.
