On account of yet another fire being started in the paper bank at the recycling centre in the High Street Car park the county council has had to landfill all the contents and removed the paper bank. The fire service was called out. This has happened several times before and on this occasion the cost was £1,656. The bank will not be replaced.
People can still recycle paper through the weekly orange bag collection.
