PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF

ST CLEMENT’S HALL

St Clement’s Hall has been used as a meeting place by community groups ever since it was first erected (as a temporary building!) over 100 years ago.

Currently there are more 150 to 200 people using the hall every week, with 10 groups meeting each week. Many others in the community use the hall for monthly meetings, and one-off events.

However, it is now in a very poor state of repair and there are no other similar facilities available in the near vicinity which the groups could use.

Planning for a new building has begun, applications for funding are being prepared and fundraising is already underway. It is essential that this planning takes account of what the various users, and would-be users, would like to see, which is the purpose of this meeting on June 5th.

There will be a 10 minute presentation, an opportunity to ask questions and suggest ideas, refreshments and a short questionnaire will be available for you to complete.

PLEASE come along and help to make this a real

NEYLAND COMMUNITY PROJECT.

If you are unable to attend but would be willing to fill in a questionnaire, or offer help in any other way please contact Mary on 01646 602976, e-mail ldgarton@btinternet.com
